Lamorna Birch’s daughter ‘Mornie’ Kerr, started painting classes in Lamorna in the 1950s, firstly in the village hall and later at Flagstaff. Exhibitions were always held at Lamorna and this tradition is continued today. It is a thriving and lively group with a growing membership who are encouraged to develop their own styles and skills, often painting ‘en plein air’.
