This year The Lamorna Valley Group of artists is spreading its wings and holding its spring show at Morvah Schoolhouse Gallery.

Approximately twelve members of the group will be participating in the exhibition, showcasing the great diversity of styles of art being produced in a variety of media. Works will include: ceramics by Eleanor Newell and Colin Caffell; sculpture by Sarah Adie and Stephanie Cunningham; textiles by Basma Ashworth and Ros Nixon; Sue Searle's photography and an exciting range of paintings by Judith Kerr, Maureen Kennedy, Tamara Mazurenko and Seth Marshall.

The Lamorna Valley Group is a group of professional artists, all of whom either live or work in the valley. It was founded in 2009 in order to celebrate the long established tradition of artistic activity in the valley and to share it with the public. It has been successfully exhibiting ever since. Many of the members also open their studios to the public during the Cornwall Open Studios and Lamorna Open Studios, as well as exhibiting independently in other galleries around the country.
